Instruction
The idea was to engrave a picture on a plate.
Step 1 : Clean engraving area with 91% Isopropyl Alcohol.
Step 2 : Mix Titanium Dioxide solution. For mine I use 2 parts white chalk paint, 1 part Titanium Dioxide, 6 drops of water and a food coloring of your choice. Stir until completely mixed.
Step 3 : Paint 2 light even coats of Titanium Dioxide mixture to the engraving area. I paint 1 coat one direction and then cross it with the 2nd coat. Allow to dry completely.
Step 4 : Import your image into xcs and prepare settings.
Step 5 : Place your plate in your laser and setup for engraving.
Step 6 : Start process and sit back and watch the magic happen.
